ZZRVTC Invited to Deliver a Keynote Speech at the Russian International Academic Conference

On April 16, the Silk Road Academy (International Education School) of ZZRVTC was invited by the Ural State University of Railway Transport in Russia to participate online in the 15th Russian International Scientific and Practical Conference and delivered a keynote speech.

On April 16, the Silk Road Academy (International Education School) of ZZRVTC was invited by the Ural State University of Railway Transport in Russia to participate online in the 15th Russian International Scientific and Practical Conference and delivered a keynote speech. The theme of this conference was The Future of Russian Transportation: New Methods for Developing Higher and Secondary Vocational Transportation Education Systems and Organizing Enrollment under Modern Conditions.

Wang Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Silk Road Academy (International Education School), introduced the development of China's vocational education in aligning with modern manufacturing, strategic emerging industries, and modern service industries. He highlighted how vocational education in China leverages industry advancements to deepen the integration of industry and education, creating a virtuous cycle of mutual promotion and complementary advantages between vocational education and industry. Wang also shared the school's journey in promoting international cooperation through the Dahe Workshop, a vocational education brand in Henan Province. This initiative fosters collaboration between the school, overseas Chinese enterprises, local governments, schools, and related organizations to cultivate technical and skilled talents needed for the development of Chinese enterprises and local economies abroad. In his concluding remarks, Wang Wei expressed his hope for deeper discussions between Chinese and Russian universities in areas such as cooperative exchanges, international student education, and international scientific research collaboration. He emphasized the importance of jointly cultivating innovative talents who can meet the demands of future career development, contributing wisdom and strength to the advancement of global education.

 

 

 

The conference was hosted by the Ural Regional Administration of the Russian Federal Railway Transport Agency and organized by the Ural State University of Railway Transport. It attracted nearly 500 representatives from universities, railway operating companies, and various enterprises in Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Cameroon, who participated both online and offline.
