On April 18, a delegation of six representatives from University of Transport Ho Chi Minh City, led by Vice President Nguyen Anh Tuan and Deputy Director Tran Thi Anh Tho of the Institute of Education and International Cooperation, along with Li Jian, General Manager of Beijing Hollysys Education Technology Co., Ltd., visited ZZRVTC. The delegation toured the comprehensive rail transit training base, the high-speed EMU intelligent driving training center, and other on-campus training facilities to learn about the institution's professional development. Both sides also held a working meeting at ZZRVTC. President Ma Yuxia and Vice President Lu Yanqi met with the guests, accompanied by heads of relevant departments and secondary schools.
Ma Yuxia extended a warm welcome to Nguyen Anh Tuan and his delegation and provided a brief overview of ZZRVTC's history, faculty, professional development, talent cultivation, and international education initiatives. She noted that University of Transport Ho Chi Minh City is a prominent public university in Vietnam's rail transit sector, with significant achievements in talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services. Hollysys Technology Group, a high-tech enterprise specializing in automation control and industry solutions, operates in over 40 countries and regions worldwide. Ma expressed confidence that the three parties could identify areas of collaboration to contribute to the development of Vietnam's North-South High-Speed Railway and the connectivity goals of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed gratitude for ZZRVTC's warm reception. He highlighted the close friendship between Vietnam and China and emphasized Vietnam's active efforts to advance its domestic high-speed railway construction. He noted that University of Transport Ho Chi Minh City established a High-Speed Rail Institute last year, offering programs in signaling, engineering, and transportation operations management. Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed hope for comprehensive collaboration with ZZRVTC in areas such as faculty training, resource development, and talent cultivation to support Vietnam's rail transit development.
Li Jian introduced Hollysys Technology Group's core business and its involvement in vocational education. He pledged the company's full support for the collaboration between ZZRVTC and University of Transport Ho Chi Minh City, leveraging Hollysys' expertise in products, technology, and services to bring China's railway education concepts, resources, and experiences to Vietnam.
Following the meeting, Lu Yanqi, on behalf of ZZRVTC, signed a memorandum of understanding with University of Transport Ho Chi Minh City. Both parties agreed to establish a joint working group to actively coordinate cooperation matters and expedite the implementation of collaborative initiatives.
