On April 23, ZZRVTC, together with Malaysia's In-house Multimedia College and Henan Integrative Medicine Hospital held the signing ceremony for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Skills Training Program and the unveiling ceremony of Dahe Workshop in Malaysia. The event was attended by Chen Guide, President of In-house Multimedia College, Zhang Mingli, Vice President of Henan Integrative Medicine Hospital and Li Fusheng, Vice President of ZZRVTC, along with other Chinese and foreign guests. The ceremony was hosted by the head of the International Affairs Office.
In his speech, Li Fusheng emphasized that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a treasure of Chinese traditional culture, validated through thousands of years of clinical practice. The launch of this TCM skills training program will further enhance the exchange and mutual learning between China and Malaysia in the field of TCM, injecting new vitality into the health and well-being of the two peoples and the international development of TCM. During the implementation of the program, ZZRVTC will collaborate with In-house Multimedia College and Henan Integrative Medicine Hospital to leverage their respective strengths in TCM education. Together, they aim to meticulously develop a training curriculum that meets international demands and integrates the characteristics of both countries. This curriculum will help students build a solid theoretical framework of TCM, deeply understand its unique thinking and theoretical essence, and continuously improve their professional skills through practice, achieving a balance between learning and application.
Zhang Mingli stated that Henan Integrative Medicine Hospital is a national public tertiary hospital integrating medical care, scientific research, teaching, prevention, health care, and rehabilitation. With 1,000 beds, 90 specialty outpatient clinics, 22 clinical departments, and over 10 academician and master physician inheritance studios, the hospital is a national leader in the application of TCM theories and techniques. The hospital is confident and capable of working with ZZRVTC to successfully complete this TCM skills training program, contributing positively to the internationalization of TCM.
Chen Guide noted that Malaysia's In-house Multimedia College is a prestigious educational institution with rich teaching resources and advanced concepts in fields such as digital technology, nursing, and rehabilitation therapy. Over the years, it has achieved remarkable success in talent cultivation and clinical research. This collaboration represents a powerful exploration of the integration of education and healthcare, theory and practice, and local and international development. It is also a concrete practice of responding to the Belt and Road initiative and deepening international cooperation in vocational education. Through the sincere cooperation of the three parties, more young students will be provided with a pathway to professional and international growth, effectively promoting regional healthcare development and vocational education reform.
During the event, ZZRVTC, In-house Multimedia College, and Henan Integrative Medicine Hospital respectively signed the cooperation agreement for the TCM skills training program and jointly unveiled Dahe Workshop in Malaysia.
