The 26th China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education was held in Beijing from October 29 to 30. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. With the theme Seeing the World through Education, the conference featured more than 100 events, including plenary sessions, parallel forums, and educational exhibitions. Over 5,000 education leaders, experts, scholars, and industry representatives from more than 70 countries and regions participated. Vice President Lu Yanqi led the ZZRVTC delegation and attended the establishment ceremony of the China-Pakistan Industry-Education Integration Community of Rail Transit Industry as a representative of vocational colleges.
At the Vocational Education Empowering International Industry-Education Integration Forum held on the 29th, ZZRVTC, together with China Railway State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., the Embassy of Pakistan in China, Tang Feng International Education Group, and other Chinese and foreign institutions, jointly initiated the establishment of the China-Pakistan Industry-Education Integration Community of Rail Transit Industry. This community is a transnational collaborative platform integrating talent cultivation, standard co-construction, technology promotion, cultural exchange, and policy research. Under the guidance of the governments of China and Pakistan and the China-Pakistan Industry-Education Cooperation Excellence Center, it will participate extensively in major rail transit projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor framework, cultivate localized and highly skilled talents for Pakistan, and create a demonstration project for industry-education integration in Belt and Road countries.
At the Forum on Innovative Development of Vocational and Technical Education from a Global Perspective held on the 30th, the China Education Association for International Exchange announced the new members of the World TVET League, with ZZRVTC officially joining as a new member. This opens a new channel for ZZRVTC to deeply participate in global vocational education governance and contribute Chinese solutions to vocational education. At the forum, the association provided an in-depth analysis of typical cases of international cooperation in vocational colleges released earlier, encouraging award-winning colleges, including ZZRVTC, to actively fulfill the mission of exporting vocational education. Through the dual-drive mechanism of multi-entity collaboration + localized implementation, they aim to achieve innovation in cross-border education models and rational overseas deployment.
During the conference, Lu Yanqi also held discussions with leaders and experts from China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing Normal University, China Center for International People-to-People Exchange, and the Industry-Education Integration Committee of Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, reaching broad consensus on deepening industry-university-research collaboration and expanding international cooperation.
