From October 23 to 25, the 9th China-Russia University of Transport Presidents Forum was held in Novosibirsk, Russia. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and organized by Novosibirsk State University of Transport. Nearly 150 representatives from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Russian Railways, and transport universities from both China and Russia attended the forum. As the representative of the Chinese vice-chairman unit of the forum, Ni Ju, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of ZZRVTC, attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech.

The forum focused on three themes: "New Challenges in the Development of the Transportation Sector in the New Era," "Application and Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in Transportation Science and Technology," and "Practical Paths for Cultivating International Transportation Talents." At the plenary session on the 23rd, Ni Ju, on behalf of the Chinese vice-chairman unit of the alliance, delivered a keynote speech titled "From China-Russia Bilateral Educational Cooperation to Belt and Road Multilateral Win-Win: ZZRVTC's Practice of Internationalized Education on the New Silk Road." He pointed out that strengthening ties and cooperation between China and Russia in transportation education and science helps cultivate highly skilled talents with an international perspective. ZZRVTC will continue to deepen and solidify cooperation between both sides, providing strong intellectual and talent support for the Belt and Road Initiative.
On October 24, all participants visited the Siberian Science City, known as the "Silicon Valley of Russia," and the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Through on-site visits and presentations, the representatives experienced Russia's strong capabilities in basic scientific research and cutting-edge technology exploration. In the subsequent exchange session, scholars from both sides conducted in-depth discussions on research fields of mutual interest and reached preliminary intentions for future talent exchanges and project cooperation.

During the event, Ni Ju also held talks with the presidents of Russian University of Transport, ST. Petersburg State Transport University, and Ural State University of Railway Transport. They reached consensus on various cooperation initiatives, including internships in China for international students, joint scientific research conferences, online Chinese language training, winter camp study tours, and forming joint teams for innovation and entrepreneurship competitions.
