From August 1 to September 12, Liu Kailiang from the School of Railway Engineering and Cheng Lanzhi from the Department of Basic Teaching at ZZRVTC successfully completed the "China-Tanzania 'Chinese + Vocational Skills' Program" training. The training lasted a total of 16 weeks and was divided into two phases: online Chinese language learning and offline professional skills training. A total of 137 trainees from various Tanzanian universities and related enterprises participated in the systematic training.

During the training, Mr. Liu Kailiang tailored his teaching to the needs of Tanzania's local industry development and the learning characteristics of the trainees, focusing on three core modules: engineering material testing, modern civil engineering testing and repair technology, and BIM technology. He closely integrated theoretical knowledge with practical skills, engaged in in-depth exchanges with local teachers and students, and shared China's technological achievements and successful experiences in the field of civil engineering. Ms. Cheng Lanzhi designed her courses based on the characteristics of the Chinese language and professional knowledge, starting from high-frequency daily scenarios. The content covered practical topics such as greetings and communication, daily needs, daily travel, and specialized Chinese vocabulary, building a basic language bridge for cross-cultural communication for Tanzanian trainees. Both teachers successfully completed their assigned tasks, and their teaching effectiveness was fully recognized by the trainees, the University of Dar es Salaam, and the Vocational Education and Training Authority of Tanzania.

At the graduation ceremony, the participating Chinese teachers and relevant leaders from the University of Dar es Salaam jointly presented graduation certificates to outstanding trainees.

This project is a key China-Tanzania vocational education cooperation project initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tanzania and the Vocational Education and Training Authority of Tanzania. The training was led by ZZRVTC and jointly implemented with two other colleges in the province. During the implementation, the Chinese teaching team adhered to the core concept of "emphasizing skills and strengthening practice," precisely aligning with the industrial needs of Tanzania and the characteristics of the trainees to ensure the practicality and transformation rate of the teaching outcomes. The positive interaction and technical exchanges between teachers and students not only deepened the learning effect but also successfully built a solid platform for communication and cooperation in the field of China-Tanzania vocational education.

The successful completion of this overseas teaching task has accumulated valuable experience for ZZRVTC in systematically promoting internationalized teaching. In the future, ZZRVTC will continue to leverage its advantages in vocational education, further optimize the construction of international teaching teams and curriculum system design, empower global youth career development through solid skills training, and contribute ZZRVTC's wisdom and strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
