Recently, Xinhua News Agency conducted an exclusive interview with Amina Ally Sauko, a Tanzanian student at ZZRVTC. As a representative of the Tanzania Railway Company Staff Training Program jointly organized by ZZRVTC and Beijing Jiaotong University, Amina shared her learning experiences, personal growth, and fruitful achievements in China, vividly demonstrating the remarkable results of talent cultivation cooperation in the China-Africa railway sector.

In the interview, Amina recalled her three-month systematic training journey. At Zhengzhou Railway Vocational & Technical College, our courses focused on four core areas: first, railway vehicle maintenance, ensuring that locomotives and rolling stock meet international safety standards; second, passenger and freight safety management, learning operational procedures to ensure the safety of people and goods; third, dispatching and command, mastering the skills to efficiently coordinate train operations in complex railway networks; and fourth, operation system management, integrating technical applications with manual supervision to ensure seamless transport control. She specifically mentioned the high degree of automation and precise dispatching in Chinas railway system, believing that these experiences are of great reference value for the development of Tanzanias railways.

During the training, Tanzanian students not only observed practical operations on the front lines of Chinas railways but also immersed themselves in Chinese cultural life. Amina said, We went from feeling homesick at first to gradually integrating, tasting Chinese food, learning basic Chinese, and experiencing the warmth and friendliness of the Chinese people. This cross-cultural exchange and understanding will become a solid bridge for future China-Africa cooperation.

From the Tanzania-Zambia Railway, a symbol of China-Africa friendship half a century ago, to todays Tanzania Central Line SGR project adopting Chinese technology and equipment, China-Tanzania railway cooperation continues to thrive and is entering a new stage of sustainable development.

This special report by Xinhua News Agency is a full recognition of ZZRVTCs international education standards, the depth of industry-education integration, and its ability to serve the Belt and Road Initiative. In the future, ZZRVTC will continue to uphold the core concept of working together for mutual benefit, continuously optimize international talent cultivation models, deepen international education cooperation in the rail transit sector, and further strengthen cooperation with Tanzania and other African countries in technical exchanges and joint talent training. With professional strength, ZZRVTC will build a bridge of China-Africa friendship and contribute ZZRVTC power to the construction of a closer China-Africa community with a shared future.
